About
My career started in London in the early 2000’s, working for a global web-based financial software company. Having been made redundant eight years later, I have spent the past 15 years helping small business get on the web – but in no ordinary fashion.
In order to grow fast I essentially worked for free or very low cost. From startups to international businesses, every customer had a different requirement – I found myself in some very challenging situations, I had to learn – fast.
I knew my focus had to be on providing a quality, value-added service – not providing poor advice, baffling the customer or making money on services they really didn’t need. It was actually in my interest to build the website that worked exactly as they needed it to ensure I was not dealing with issues once it’s was built (which were all included in the package at no extra cost). This strategy coincidently took care of my advertising with 90% of my business coming from referals.
I was able to offer impartial advice as it was no gain to me – I just needed the best possible setup for the customer in their specific scenerio. Everything from domain purchasing, hosting platforms and providers, website platforms and builders, email solutions and general technical advice (from laptop purchasing to cloud stoage) – I found myself involved in every aspect.
The sole purpose of this website is to provide advice to business owners that simply need advice on their web presence. Whether that’s getting a second opinion, or pointers to a specific solution, I can help – for free.
